If you are unable to download the Textr Go iOS app from the App Store in Mainland China, you can start using Textr Go through either of the following methods.
Option 1: Change Your App Store Country/Region to Download Textr Go
You can switch your Apple App Store to an overseas country or region (such as the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom) and then download Textr Go.
Step 1: Change Your App Store Country/Region
Open the App Store.
Tap your account profile picture in the upper-right corner.
Go to Account Settings.
Tap Country/Region.
Select an overseas country or region (for example, the United States).
Fill in Address Information
When switching countries or regions, Apple requires a local address. If you do not have an overseas address, you can use our free address generator tool to create a random U.S. address: https://textrapp.com/free-tools/free-address-generator-tool
After generating an address, enter the corresponding information in the Apple Country/Region settings page.
Step 2: Reopen the App Store
After changing your country or region:
Close the App Store.
Reopen the App Store.
The App Store will now display apps available in the selected country or region.
Step 3: Download the Textr Go App
Search for Textr Go in the App Store.
Tap Get to install the app.
Tap Sign Up, then enter your username and mobile phone number to complete registration.
Option 2: Use the Textr Go Web Version
If you do not want to switch your App Store region, you can use the Textr Go web version directly.
Step 1: Visit the Web Version
Open your browser and go to: https://go.textrapp.com
Step 2: Register an Account
Click Sign Up.
Enter your username and mobile phone number.
Receive and verify the SMS verification code.
Once registration is complete, you can start using Textr Go immediately.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will changing my App Store country or region affect my Apple ID?
No. Changing your App Store country or region does not affect your Apple ID account itself. After downloading Textr Go, you can switch back to your original country or region if needed.
2. What if I need to provide an overseas address when changing my App Store country or region?

3. What is the difference between the Textr Go web version and the app version?

Yes. You can use the same Textr Go account to log in and use both the web version and the app.
