No matter which operating system you use, it's essential to check if your devices are carrier-unlocked and eSIM-compatible before you purchase a eSIM data plan.
A locked device means you can only use SIM cards from a specific carrier. To use eSIMs from other carriers or suppliers, your devices must be carrier-unlocked.
Furthermore, please refer to the list below to confirm if your devices support eSIMs. This list will continue to expand as more eSIM-compatible devices are released.
iOS System
Note:
All iPhone and iPad devices purchased from Mainland China do not support eSIMs.
Most iPhone and iPad devices purchased from Hong Kong and Macao do not support eSIMs, except for iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE 2020, and iPhone XS, which do support eSIMs.
The US versions of iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max can only support eSIMs.
iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 models can support two eSIMs simultaneously.
iPads without WiFi + Cellular features cannot support eSIMs.

Android System

All Samsung S20 FE/S21 cannot support eSIMs.
All Samsung S20 FE/S21 models do not support eSIMs.
Most Samsung devices purchased from South Korea do not support eSIMs, with exceptions for Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy A54 5G.
The US versions of Samsung S20/S20+, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Samsung Note 20 Ultra, and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 do not support eSIMs.
Hong Kong versions of Samsung Note 20 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also do not support eSIMs.
Google Pixel 3a purchased from South East Asia does not support eSIMs.
Google Pixel 3 purchased from Australia, Taiwan, and Japan does not support eSIMs.
Google Pixel 3 purchased from American or Canadian carriers does not support eSIMs.
All Huawei devices purchased from China are not eligible for eSIM use. Additionally, Huawei P40 Pro+ and P50 Pro do not support eSIMs.

For Windows 10: To use an eSIM, your PC must have Windows 10 version 1703 or later, and the device must support LTE connectivity.
